Parks and Trails

We gathered a list of parks and trails in case you want an outing that allows you to enjoy the nature that East Texas has to offer. Tyler is about a 30-minute drive from Tranquil Cabins Winona and hosts a variety of parks and trails for your enjoyment.

Legacy Trail

Length: The 4.5-mile trail, featuring 10-foot wide concrete paths and a 2.2-mile extension is under construction. Trail Map

Address: The trailhead is on the southwest corner of Three Lakes Pkwy and Old Jacksonville Hwy.
Difficulty: Easy. This is a family-friendly option that is enjoyable for all ability levels.
To Do: Walk, run, rollerblade, bike, or paddle board. Bicycle fix-it stations have been installed. Dog Friendly: Yes on a leash

Coco Bean

Coco Bean offers hourly bike, e-bike and paddle board rentals for the whole family.

Located right off the legacy trail, it makes them a nice little rest stop. You can shop, grab a coffee, or have a quick bite. Book ahead if you want to take advantage of the holistic spa and massage.

Faulkner Park

180-acre city park
To Do: Hike, mountain bike, nature trails, fishing pond, picnic, playground, sprayground, skate ramps, baseball, tennis.
Length: 9 mi of nature trails and 6.2 mi of MTB trails. Options for Families through Intermediate Trail Map
Bicycle fix-it stations have been installed.
Dog Friendly: Yes, most areas allow dogs on a leash.

Lindsey

To Do: Hiking, mountain bike & nature trails, disc golf, picnic areas, playground, baseball & soccer fields.
Length: 5 and 15-mile MTB loops with approx. 80 ft/mile of climbing and descending. Trail Map
